Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attends SEEC meeting in narrow format
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended a regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in narrow format, that took place in Leningrad Oblast, Russia, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
The meeting was also joined by President Vladimir Putin of Russia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Sadyr Zhaparov of Kyrgyzstan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia (via videoconferencing) as well as Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
The participants of the meeting discussed the key tasks and priority areas of further cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union as well as exchanged views on the current issues and certain practical aspects of the EAEU’s activities.
Earlier it was reported, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, who arrived in St. Petersburg for a working visit, joined the informal meeting of the CIS leaders.
