Kassymov took over presidency of CIS Internal Ministers Council

Opening the regular meeting, Kazakh Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kassymov took over the presidency of the Council.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the CIS Ministries of Internal Affairs, the governing structure of the Office for the Coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous crimes in the territory of the CIS, and the CIS Executive Committee and the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center.
Large operative-preventive measures and special operations are held within these programs, the participants share experience and the CIS police officers improve their skills .
A Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2014 - 2016 was signed on the sidelines of the meeting.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received participants of the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Ministries of Internal Affairs.
Besides, the trilateral meeting of internal ministers of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia was held with the Council's session. Issues of further cooperation within the Customs Union, and the problems associated with the creation of the Eurasian police structure (Evrazpola) in the framework of the Common Economic Space were considered at this meeting.
As the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted today's meeting, as each meeting of the Board, is a significant progress in the joint counteraction to modern challenges and threats and security in the territory of the CIS countries.
