Kazakhstan's airlines not to operate flights over Yemen

Kazakhstani airlines will not operate flights over Yemen, Kazinform News Agency reports via the country’s aviation administration.

In connection with the situation in Yemen, the aviation security department carried out an assessment of the level of threat and risk management in the field of civil aviation security.

Based on the results of the assessment, the aviation administration sent appropriate recommendations to Kazakhstani airlines not to operate flights over Yemeni airspace, the department said.
