Kazakh Ambassador, Director of ECO Institute of Culture met

TEHERAN. April 20. KAZINFORM Deputy of the Kazakh Senate, Special Envoy of the Kazakh President Orynbai Rakhamnberdiyev met with Director of the Institute of Culture of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Doctor Mohammad Rajabi, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Embassy in Iran.

The Kazakh Deputy informed on the initiative of Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev ? the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, its main purposes, aimed at the establishment of peace and accord between the religions of the world. He told about the Kazakh model of interconfessional and interethnic accord, stressing the role of the People?s Assembly of Kazakhstan, established by the President. Besides, the Senator briefed the leadership of the Institute on the main provisions of the President?s Address to the Nation and on the measures, taken by the Kazakh Government on world financial crisis overcome. The Director of the Institute of Culture complimented the role of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, highly appraising the initiative of the Kazakh President in strengthening of peace and accord in the world and in the region of the ECO.
