Kazakh Ambassador handed over congratulatory telegram to M.Gorbachev

ASTANA. March 1. KAZINFORM Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Zautbek Turysbekov has handed over a congratulatory telegram to President of the International Fund for Socio-Economic and Political Studies "The Gorbachev Foundation" Mikhail Gorbachev on the occasion of his 80th anniversary on behalf of the Kazakh President today, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy reported.

"Your name is justly associated with the whole epoch which started a profound reorganization cardinally changing the world political map. The society was recovered from the total control, discovered the truth about the history of its country, received a possibility to think and choose. These were the first steps towards the democracy and freedom," the telegram reads.

M.Gorbachev thanked N.Nazarbayev for the attention and wished Kazakhstanis peace and prosperity.
