Kazakh Ambassador, Marubeni CEO meet in Tokyo

As the Kazakh MFA's press service notes, Kazakh Ambassador to Tokyo Akylbek Kamaldinov met with President and CEO of Marubeni Corporation Nobuo Katsumata.
The sides considered issues of development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of atomic energy, energy-saving technologies introduction and technologies transfer.
The Kazakh Ambassador informed the another party of the economic policy conducted by the Kazakh Government in the world economic crisis and new state program on the forced industrial and innovation development of the country.
The diplomat informed of completion of the domestic procedures necessary for coming into force of the Convention on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax avoidance in regard to revenue-based levy between Kazakhstan and Japan, which will be used from January 1, 2010.
The Japanese side expressed hope for formation of the corresponding contractual legal framework between the two countries and acceleration of the process of the projects preparation, which are the most important for development of trade-economic cooperation of bilateral documents.
Following the results of the meeting the sides agreed to continue interaction on creation of favorable investment conditions for the Japanese companies' activity in our country and expressed hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
