Kazakh Ambassador meets President of ?Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank? in Tokyo

ASTANA. February 10. KAZINFORM On February 5 Kazakhstan Ambassador to Japan Akylbek Kamaldinov had a meeting with President of ?Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank? Bank Nobuo Kuroyanagi in Tokyo, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

In the course of the meeting the Ambassador informed the Chairman of the Japanese bank of the Kazakh Government?s measures on overcoming the consequences of the global financial crisis and the measures on support of the real sector of economy, small and medium business. The parties focused on bilateral cooperation in finances, investment partnership and the opportunities of attraction of Japanese capital to the implementation of large infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan. In turn Mr. Kuroyanagi highly appraised Kazakh Government?s efforts on provision of favorable investment conditions for work of foreign companies and noted that opening of a representation of ?Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank? in Almaty in late 2008 set the best pattern of long-term plans of the bank in Kazakhstan. As is known, ?Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank? ranks among the 10 best banks in the world rating. ?Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank? controls about 50% of financial deals of the Japanese companies on the Asian continent.
