Kazakh Ambassador met with President of the Philippines

ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines Mukhtar Tleuberdi conducted negotiations with President of the Republic of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in Manila, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

Within the discussion, President G. Macapagal-Arroyo highly estimated the growing authority of Kazakhstan on the world arena and complimented success in the socio-economic development of our republic. She confirmed that the Philippines pays special attention to the development of cooperation with Kazakhstan in the sphere of economy. The President expressed her intention to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan this year. Within the visit, the Kazakh Ambassador met with the President of the Trade-industrial Chamber of the Philippines and attended a business seminar with leading Philippine businessmen, where informed of the current socio-economic state of our country and antirecessionary measures taken by the Kazakh Government.
