Kazakh ambassador met with Slovak Foreign Ministry officials

ASTANA. December 5. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Anarbek Karashev held meetings with Alexander Micovcin, Director General of the Directorate General for Trade and Official Development Assistance and Marian Jakubocy, Director of the Department for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia in Bratislava.

The sides discussed the opportunities of deepening Kazakh-Slovak cooperation in the fields of science and technology, tourism and education, as well as considered prospects for bilateral relations in 2012.

They also noted the importance of joint industrial-innovative projects, and educational exchange under the governmental educational programs, including the Kazakh presidential scholarship "Bolashak".

The Slovak side congratulated Kazakhstan on the 20^th anniversary of independence.
