Kazakh Ambassador met with Tehran political analysts and mass media

The diplomat specified the main provisions of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s Address to the nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity? and the foremost directions of social economic and political reforms held in Kazakhstan. In particular, he highlighted that Kazakhstan?s anti-crisis plan was aimed at preserving stability of the national financial system, support of housing construction, development of small and medium businesses, agro-industrial complexes, and implementation of innovation projects. More KZT 2.7 trillion were budgeted for anti-crisis activities. The ambassador also assured that Kazakhstan Government would continue providing social protection despite the global crisis. Representatives of Iranian mass media expressed interest in the article of President Nursultan Nazarbayev ?Keys to Crisis? about overcoming crisis in the world economy, his proposal on creation of a common world currency, and a set of measures on stabilization of Kazakhstan?s economy and financial system for 2009-2010. Mr. Utembayev also presented ?Path to Europe? Government Program and emphasized that establishing the dialogue between the Western countries and the Islamic world would be one of Kazakhstan?s priorities for the period of OSCE chairmanship.
