Kazakh Ambassador met with Vice President of Japanese House of Councillors

The Kazakh diplomat informed of the Government?s antirecessionary measures and main provisions of the President's Address to the nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity?. The Japanese side was interested in Kazakhstan?s international initiatives such as the Congress of World and Traditional Religions? Leaders, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kazakhstan?s chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 as well as the activities dedicated to 60 years after the first nuclear explosion was detonated on the territory of Kazakhstan and the 20th anniversary of the Semipalatinsk test site shutting down. Mrs. Akino Santo praised Kazakhstan?s initiatives and efforts promoting the dialog between different nations and religions. She expressed hope for further strengthening of friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Japan.
