Kazakh Ambassador, Slovak Speaker of National Council meet in Bratislava

BRATISLAVA. February 19. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Anarbek Karashev held a meeting with Speaker of the National Council (Parliament) of the Slovak Republic Pavol Paska; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Embassy in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.

Within the meeting the issues regarding development of interparliamentary interaction were discussed. A.Karashev expressed interest in studying experience of interaction of legislative and executive authorities in the line of development of institution of parliamentarism in Kazakhstan. The Kazakh diplomat informed of the social and economic situation, topical international initiatives of Kazakhstan, noted dynamic realization of the agreements reached within the first visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Slovakia in November, 2007. Speaking for strengthening of cooperation between legislative bodies of the two countries, the Speaker emphasized his readiness to contribute to promotion of bilateral relations in different spheres and strengthening friendship between the two countries.
