Kazakh Ambassador to Armenia takes part in «EXPO-2017» seminar
The meeting discussed issues of collaboration between Kazakhstan and Armenia as well as prospects for further development of regional relations in various fields.
The same day Goris State University of Armenia held a seminar themed: "EXPO-2017: Kazakhstan on the way to the energy of future" which was organized by the Kazakh Embassy to Armenia jointly with "European Integration" Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). The event was attended by representatives of the city administration, university faculty, regional experts and analysts, students and mass media of Armenia.
Opening the seminar A.Bozzhigitov announced the audience about the ongoing effort to organize upcoming event. Referring to the exhibition's theme the Kazakh diplomat noted that "this issue reflects the most relevant for humanity problem of rational use of energy resources and its solution is a strategic priority for many countries".
Karen Bekaryan, head of "European Integration" NGO, spoke at the seminar as well. To his knowledge, the Armenian society should pay attention to Kazakhstan's experience in implementing the principles of "green economy" in order to subsequently apply it in our country. Kazakhstan and Armenia share great potential for expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Vahe Davtyan, president of "Clean Energy" NGO, speaking at the seminar described the Armenian practice in the field of alternative energy, stressing the importance and urgency of topics raised by Kazakhstan which are reflected in a very capacious concept of "energy of future."
The participants were distributed leaflets with the text of Nursultan Nazarbayev's Message to the people of Kazakhstan called "Kazakhstan-2050 "Strategy, final report of the VI Astana Economic Forum and the World Anti-Crisis Conference issued by the Embassy in the Armenian language.
