Kazakh Ambassador to Belgium meets with European Investment Bank reps
BRUSSELS. April 17. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ Kazakh Ambassador Yerik Utembayev held a meeting with representatives of the European Investment Bank Thursday in Brussels. The sides discussed opportunities for achieving long-term and beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and the largest financial institute of the European Union.

The Kazakh Ambassador spoke about the importance of close partnership with the Bank to Kazakhstan in carrying through large projects in energy, transport, technologies and infrastructure. The representatives of the Bank assured of their intentions to invest into implementation of the state and private projects of Kazakhstan. The parties also expressed an intention to enter into a Framework Agreement between Kazakhstan and the European Investment Bank, regulating the activity of the Bank in Kazakhstan.
Y.Utembayev informed the guests of launched execution of the ?Path to Europe? Government Program designed on the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev and told about its main goals.
