Kazakh Ambassador to Norway A.Tazhiev presented his credentials to King Harald V

ASTANA. November 1. KAZINFORM - In Oslo the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Norway Askar Tazhiev presented his credentials to Norwegian King Harald V, says the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

During the ceremony the king congratulatedthe Kazakh diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in diplomacy. At the same time  praising the prospects for the development of our state, he expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of the status of the Kazakh embassy in Oslo.

In turn Mr.Tazhiev briefed the monarch on the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan. He noted the possibility of bilateral cooperation, including scientific and technological sphere, education, etc.

King Harald of Norway, who is governing the various funds for the development of culture and sports, took the information on the rich historical heritage of Kazakhstan with interest, as well as on the application of Astana to hold XXIV Olympic Winter Games in 2022.
