Kazakh ambassadors to convene in Astana

ASTANA. December 12. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "On December 13-14 heads of all the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan abroad will convene in Astana," official spokesman for the Kazakh MFA Altai Abibullayev told a briefing.

"On the threshold of the 20th anniversary of independence the enlarged meeting of the Foreign Ministry will focus on the Kazakh foreign policy priorities and tasks in the modern context and sum up the Ministry's work for the previous period and outline top-priority tasks for the years to come," Abibullayev added.

There are 45 ambassadors and permanent representatives to the international organizations, 6 Charges d'Affaires and 8 general counsels of Kazakhstan so far.
