Kazakh-American investment forum takes place in New York

ASTANA. November 9. KAZINFORM Regular Kazakh-American business forum - 2010 devoted to presentation of the Forced Industrial-Innovative Development Program of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014 takes place in New York on November 8-9, the Kazakh Embassy in the USA reports.

The forum consists of thematic panel sessions revealing priorities of the Forced Industrialization Program which are the perspective directions of the Kazakh-American economic cooperation.

By tradition, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov is planned to address audience of the forum through a video message. The participants will have an opportunity to ask the Head of the Kazakh Government to answer questions.

Representative delegation consisting of heads of governmental bodies and private structures has arrived in New York for participation in the forum. as the organizers said, the main peculiarity of this forum was presentation of particular projects within the Forced Industrialization Program offering participation for foreign investment and technological companies.

The American side is represented by members of the State Department, the Departments of Energy and Commerce, the Export-Import Bank, the Department of the Treasury, the Chamber of Commerce and the American-Kazakh Business Association.

Presentation of recently opened in New York office of the Kazakh Chamber of Industry and Commerce will be held within the forum.
