Kazakh-American political consultations to be held in Astana at March end

ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh-American political consultations are scheduled for the end of this month in Astana. Official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Askar Abdrakhmanov made it public at the briefing.

"The second session of the annual Kazakh-American political consultations on the main five directions of the bilateral agenda such as security, politics, democracy and human rights, economics and social development, energy will be held in Astana on March 24-25," A.Abdrakhmanov said.

The Kazakh side is represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kairat Umarov, the American - Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake. Representatives of the interested state bodies of Kazakhstan and their American colleague are expected to take part in the meeting as well.
