The Shyrak (The Candle) animation movie directed by the Kazakh youth studio Ara has been shortlisted for several foreign festivals in the US, China, South Korea, and Italy, Kazinform Agency learnt from Khabar 24.

The story about the candle features family relations, feelings of loneliness, and seeking a friend.

The animated movie combines 2D animation and 3D graphics.
