Kazakh archers upset at 2024 Olympics
Kazakhstan’s archery team leaves the 2024 Olympic Games without a medal, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the National Olympic Committee.
Alexander Yeryomenko was the last to compete at the Games.
In the Round of 16, he faced Baptiste Addis from France, and lost to him 2:6.
Earlier, Ilfat Abdullin and Dauletkeldi Zhambyrbay dropped out of the competition.
Ilfat Abdullin competed vs Eric Peters of Canada in the men's Round of 64 individual. Their clash ended with a score of 6-4 in favor of Peters.
Dauletkeldi Zhanbyrbay lost to Colombian Jorge Enriquez with a score of 7-3 in the Round of 64.
The 2024 Summer Olympics, branded as Paris 2024, is an international multi-sport event being held between July 24 and August 11, 2024, in France.
