Kazakh Army to be equipped with automated control system in 2014-2016

ASTANA. February 12. KAZINFORM. /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The first stage of equipping the Kazakhstan Armed Forces with automated control system will be held from 2014 till 2016. Kazakh Minister of Defense Daniyal Akhmetov has made it public today at a meeting with the representatives of the military diplomatic corps accredited in Kazakhstan.

Speaking about the Armed Forces transformation the Minister noted that Kazakhstan pursued an aim to establish competitive forces within a short period of time. One of the fundamental directions of such transformation is the introduction of the automated control system that will ensure mobility of the Kazakh army due to new information technologies.
