Kazakh artistic swimming duet takes gold at Asian Championships

Kazakhstani swimmers Dayana Jamanchalova and Sofiya Ischenko clinched a gold medal at the 11th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships being held in New Clark City in the Philippines, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

The Kazakh duet (13-15 age group) turned out to be the best in artistic swimming having gathered 233.5413 points.

Chinese duet Ye Jixuan and Qui Zhiyun took silver with 229.6568 points and Uzbek duet Zhasmina Kodirova and Sabina Makhmoudova won a bronze medal with 194.8469 points.
