Kazakh athlete clinches taekwondo silver in Azerbaijan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani taekwondo practitioner Nartai Urazbayev has clinched silver in +65kg category at the 2014 WTF Cadet World Taekwondo Championship that was held in in Baku, Azerbaijan on from 24 till 27 July.

On his way to the final bout, Urazbayev defeated taekwondo athletes from Azerbaijan, the U.S., and Uzbekistan. Sadly, Iranian opponent outclassed Nartai. Eventually, gold went to Iran. Taekwondo practitioners from Uzbekistan and Turkey shared bronze.
