Kazakh aviation experts upgrade skills

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 35 employees of the Committee of Civil Aviation (CCA) under the Ministry of Transport and Communications have been trained on the course "Human Factors in Aviation" of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the press service said.

The main purpose of training was to increase the efficiency of government aviation inspectors as well as aircraft safety factor. During training CCA inspectors were studied measures to prevent accidents occurring due to human factors.

Thus, the Committee employees have already passed six generalized and specialized training courses including flight operation, airworthiness and audit methodology.

The training course was introduced in Kazakhstan in December 2013. After the theoretical training they will be trained on the job under the leadership of ICAO experts in February-March the current year.

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) develops standards and recommended practices for civil aviation and their implementation worldwide. ICAO joins 191 contracting states including Kazakhstan.
