Kazakh, Azeri Defense Ministers debated coop issues

ASTANA. December 6. KAZINFORM A military delegation of Azerbaijan arrived in Astana for a working visit. Kazakh Defense Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov met today with his colleague Defense Minister of Azerbaijan General Colonel Safar Abiyev, the press service of the Kazakh Defense Ministry reports.

"Kazakhstan is an important partner of Azerbaijan in the Caspian region. Thanks to the well-balanced foreign policy the Kazakh President pursues Kazakhstan is widely recognized as a reliable partner in foreign cooperation issues.

The parties shared views on regional security issues, military-political and military-technical cooperation and approved cooperation plan between the ministries for 2012.
