Kazakh bayan player wins at Premio Internazionale della Fisarmonica in Italy
A graduate of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, Dias Yelemes, has claimed victory at the esteemed international competition for accordionists and bayanists, the Premio Internazionale della Fisarmonica in Italy, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh musician won in the World Senior category.
In addition to Dias Yelemes, a 4th year student Akhymbek Temirlan and graduate Zhandos Sauyt represented the Kazakh National Conservatory at the event.
The Premio Internazionale della Fisarmonica in Castelfidardo is one of the most prestigious competitions in the world, attracting over 200 musicians from 60 countries and a panel of 50 experts from across the globe each year.
