Kazakh Bexultan Boranbek knocks down Russian Anatoliy Rebeduk twice and propels to semifinals of IBA Youth World Championships 2024 in Budva

Kazakh boxer Beksultan Boranbek (51kg) advanced to the semifinals of the IBA Youth World Championships 2024 in Budva, Montenegro, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Sports.kz.

Beksultan Boranbek of Kazakhstan defeated Anatoliy Rebeduk of Russia in the 51kg quarterfinal bout of the IBA Youth World Championships. Knocking down the Russian boxer twice, the Kazakh athlete won the bout via unanimous decision with a score of 5:0.

Thus, Beksultan Boranbek advanced to the medal round and secured at least a bronze medal at the IBA Youth World Championships 2024. 

Earlier it was reported that Team Kazakhstan picked up eight quarterfinal victories at the tournament.
