Kazakh border patrol seizes 50 tons of diesel fuel

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Kostanay region border patrol detained two nationals of the Russian Federation on their way from Kazakhstan to Russia for attempting to smuggle 50 tons of diesel fuel, the press service of the Frontier Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan said.

The way-bill branded diesel fuel as home heating oil. Investigation is underway. As earlier reported, the country's Frontier Service has recently foiled smuggling of 25 tons of diesel oil, 28 tons of crude oil and 40 tons of petroleum.
