Kazakh boxers haul gold, silver and bronze at international tournament

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani athletes have collected three medals - gold, silver and bronze at the International Boxing Tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan, the press service of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation reports.

Zakir Safiullin clinched gold in 60kg category. Dauren Yeleussinov took silver in 81kg category and Sagadat Rakhmankulov hauled bronze in 69kg category. Sadly, Yerlan Tamemov (52kg category), Saparbai Aidarov (75kg category) and Nurzhan Bekzatov (91kg category) lost their respective bouts in the quarterfinal. The tournament brought together 130 boxers from 9 countries of the world.
