Kazakh businessmen proud Kazakhstan rose in global competitiveness ranking
ATYRAU. September 5. KAZINFORM Atyrau businessmen are proud that Kazakhstan has improved its position in the global competitiveness ranking of the World Economic Forum, landing on the 50th spot.

Kazakhstan has even surpassed its closest neighbor - Russia in the ranking.
"We, the entrepreneurs, have significantly contributed to bringing Kazakhstan up in the global competitiveness ranking. For instance, our products [pipes] are well-known to the international consumers. A lot of people consider Kazakhstan quite competitive. And what is more important is that Kazakhstani producers go beyond the inner market by constantly improving the quality of their products and expanding the assortment," manager of the Atyrau pipe plant Gennady Utkin said.
