Kazakh capital to join Earth Hour 2024

Shopping malls, sports centers and business entities are to join the worldwide environmental movement Earth Hour on March 23 in the Kazakh capital, Kazinform News Agency cites the official website of the administration of Astana city.

According to the city’s environmental protection and natural resources management department, the symbolic lights-out event encourages people around the world to switch off their lights for 60 minutes at 8.30pm on March 23 to reinforce our strong commitment to the planet.

The WWF-led worldwide environmental movement Earth Hour aims to raise awareness on nature loss and the climate crisis.
