Kazakh capital sees slight rise in coronavirus cases for 2nd week

The Kazakh capital has recorded 21 and 25 coronavirus cases during each of the past two weeks, the city’s chief health officer Sarkhat Beissenova said, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

According to her, the coronavirus situation is stable in the capital as the city remains in the green zone. Referring to the statistics, there were 61 and 74 coronavirus cases in December and January, respectively, in the city.

Beissenova went on to add that 21 and 25 coronavirus cases during each of the past two weeks have been reported in the capital, comparing it to 13-15 weekly coronavirus cases in December and up to 18 weekly cases in January.

As of today, three coronavirus patients are under inpatient treatment. More patients without clinical symptoms are treated as outpatients, she said.
