Kazakh capital to host Kazakhstan Short Track Speed Skating qualification tournament

The Kazakhstan Short Track Speed Skating Championship will be held in the Kazakh capital of Astana, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Olympic.kz.

The championship is scheduled to take place from October 1 to 5.

The Republican tournament will serve as a qualifying event, with the Kazakh squad formation for the forthcoming season to be determined according to the results.

The World Tour series is set to run in Montreal from October 26 to 27.

Earlier it was reported that Astana is to host the ITTF-Asian Table Tennis Championships for the first time. The 27th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024 set to take place from October 6 to 13, is to bring 210 athletes from 26 countries.
