Kazakh CEC accredited 47 observers from foreign states and int'l organizations

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Kazakh Central Election Commission has accredited 47 observers for the election of deputies of the Majilis and maslikhats. Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Vladimir Foos has announced at a briefing today.

"At present, the Central Election Commission accredited 47 observers from foreign states and international organizations, including 46 people - from ODIHR/OSCE Mission, and one - from the CIS Observation Mission. The accreditation will last till January 9, 2012," V.Foos said.

According to him, local observers, representatives of political parties, public unions and NGOs of Kazakhstan as well as mass media will participate in the election monitoring.
