Kazakh chain armours unearthed in Kyzylkum dates back to 18th century

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Shymkent archeologists digged out chain armours of Kazakh batyrs in Kyzylkum dessert dated back to the 18th century, KTK channel reports.

The locals told the archeologists about their finding. The historians for the first ever time discovered documentary evidence that the Kazakhs fought with Djungars three centuries ago. The chain armours, a cape and even a helmet were laying in the earth as if they were taken off and placed gently for keeping safe. The scientists are going to orginize an expedition to search for another artifacts to learn more about the life of the Kazakhs during the years of the heavy calamity.
