Kazakh citizens evacuated from Homs, Syria
ABU DHABI. March 17. KAZINFORM The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Jordan and the Kazakh consular mission temporarily situated in Amman town reported that Syria had evacuated two Kazakh citizens with children.
In particular, on March 16, a Kazakh citizen Dinara Aliyeva with four children was set out to Almaty; one more Kazakhstani Irina Alrahim and her two children will fly from Istanbul to her home in the city of Astana on March 17.
Kazakh diplomat noted that these fellow citizens had evacuated from Syrian province of Homs, where security conditions have recently deteriorated. Kazakhstan shall pay all expenses for the evacuation of its nationals from Syria, where the serious military conflict has been continuing for the second year. According to the UN, more than 75,000 people were killed during the fighting in Syria.
