Kazakh Constitutional Council became an important factor in statehood strengthening - K. Saudabayev

ASTANA. December 29. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan has become an important factor in statehood strengthening. Kazakh Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev said it at the international conference "Constitutional control: status and prospects" devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Constitutional Council in Astana on Wednesday.

"Today we can with certainty say that the Constitutional Council did not only establish itself as a state body providing the supremacy of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the entire country, but became an important factor in statehood strengthening", K. Saudabayev emphasized.

He noted that the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan became a respected agency not only in the republic, but also far beyond its borders.
