Kazakh Defense Minister met with Vice Chairman of China Central Military Commission

F. Changlong noted military relations between the countries reached high level since establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and China 20 years ago.

"Kazakhstan and China support each other in all important issues, including sovereignty, security and territorial integrity. China is ready to cooperate actively for military build-up," F. Changlong said.

In turn, A. Dzhaksybekov stressed 'strategic partnership has a positive impact on both countries and for stability in the region.'

According to A.Dzhaksybekov, Kazakhstan hopes to strengthen ties between the armies of the two countries.

The same day, the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan met with his Chinese counterpart, Liang Guanglie, and said that countries should give a new impetus to the development of strategic partnership in the military sphere. He also made ​​a number of proposals.

 "Kazakhstan attaches special importance to the military-technical cooperation with China," A.Dzhaksybekov added.

The Minister praised the current level of relations and expressed confidence in the future development of defense cooperation.

In addition, the delegation of the Ministry of Defense, headed by A. Dzhaksybekov, visited a number of enterprises of the military-industrial complex in China.
