Kazakh Defense Minister visits ‘Oboronexpo 2014’ exhibition

ZHUKOVSKY. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov during his working visit to the Russian Federation has attended the 2nd International Exhibition of Arms "Oboronexpo 2014" which is taking place in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region.

Modern armaments and military equipment manufactured in Russia were presented to the Minister. Oboronexpo 2014 will include two main events, The Third International Forum "Engineering Technologies 2014" and The Second International Expo "Oboronexpo 2014." Russian state industrial corporation Rostec is one of the organizers of the expo. Serik Akhmetov's visit is aimed at implementing the agreement between Kazakhstan and Russia on military-technical cooperation and projects within the approved joint work program for the period of 2014-2016. S.Akhmetov will also hold meetings with the leadership of the Military-Industrial Commission under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, State Corporation "Russian Technologies".
