Kazakh delegation to participate in winter session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

VIENNA. February 18. KAZINFORM /Kenzhebolat Zholdybai/ Kazakh delegation headed by Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has arrived in Vienna today to participate in the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Kazinform reports.

The session of the Assembly will be opened tomorrow in the official residence of the Australian President ?Hofburg? Imperial Palace. The Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE Secretary General, the Chairman of the OSCE are expected to deliver speeches at the session of the Permanent Committee of the Assembly. A special report of the head of the Kazakh delegation, Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will be listened to within the session of the Assembly. Presentation of ?Road to Europe? State Program will be held as well. The attendees will be presented a program ?On preparation for Kazakhstan?s chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010?. The event as well as realization of the program will stimulate the development of interaction between Kazakhstan and European countries.
