Kazakh delegation took part in Munich <i>F.RE.E 2009</i> Expo

ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM. A popular international tourist exhibition ?F.RE.E 2009? was held in Munich from February 26 till March 2 within the framework of the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany; Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh MFA?s press service.

Over 1500 representatives of various tourism sectors including travel agencies, airlines, hotels took part in the exposition. The Kazakh delegation in association with Kazakhstan Consulate in Bavaria presented a stand under the motto ?Alps meet Tien Shan? that aroused great interest of tourism specialists and visitors of F.RE.E 2009. Besides, the Kazakh delegation held a number of meetings. The issues on preparation for the 18th session of the UNESCO General Assembly this autumn in Astana were discussed at the meeting with the representatives of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
