Kazakh delegation took part in OSCE PA Winter Session

ASTANA. February 28. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Majilis Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Amzebek Zholshibekov and Deputy Tulebek Kosmambetov being members of a delegation of the Kazakh Parliament took part in the OSCE PA Winter Meeting.

The session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE was held on February 24-25, 2011 in Vienna, the press service of the Majilis reported.

Before the beginning of the winter session A.Zholshibekov and Senate Deputy A.Akhmetov participated in a meeting of delegations of the CSTO member states to the OSCE PA where the parties discussed the agenda of the OSCE PA winter session and the plans of the Organization.

Draft reports on the main directions of the Assembly activity as well as the current situation in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Mediterranean region were discussed at the session of the Parliamentary Assembly.

Besides, A.Zholshibekov took part in a meeting of the Head of the Kazakh parliamentary delegation, Senate Speaker K.Tokayev with President of the Austrian National Council (Parliament) Barbara Prammer.

A.Zholshibekov also met with TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov. The sides discussed organizational issues of the upcoming second session of the TurkPA in Astana.
