Kazakh designer showcased her collection at Paris Haute Couture
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Svetlana Kushnerova of Kazakhstan presented recently her designs at Paris Haute Couture, Kostanayskiye novosti reports.
"Participation in Haute Couture Week is like gaining the Oscar in the world of fashion," she said. "Haute couture is French for "high dressmaking". The clothes are designed to be worn by perhaps just a few clients once or twice and should be approved by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and often require a thousand hours of work including elaborate embellishments and finishes," she added.
Kusherova's team consists of 40 people. It is noteworthy, her style was applauded by editors of leading glossy magazines of the world and director of Chanel High Fashion House.
