Kazakh diplomat meets with Nepszabadsag journalists, Hungary
ASTANA. March 25. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Ambassador Rashid Ibrayev has visited the editorial office of Nepszabadsag newspaper. He met with editors and journalists of the mainstream media of Hungary; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.
The Hungarian side expressed interest in the main provisions of the Address of Kazakhstan President ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Development?, Government?s antirecessionary measures and socio-economic as well as political reforms in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh diplomat told about the priorities and tasks of the forthcoming OSCE chairmanship in 2010, the main aspects of ?Path to Europe? government program for 2009-2011. He stressed the document was aimed at developing Kazakhstan?s cooperation with the leading European countries, including Hungary, to the level of strategic partnership in the spheres of energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, advanced technologies.
It was noted that Kazakh-Hungarian bilateral relations had strengthened after the recent visit of President Nazarbayev to Hungary.
Kazakhstan?s initiatives, such as People?s Assembly, CICA, Congress of World and Traditional Religions? Leaders were discussed at the meeting. The journalists paid special attention to Kazakhstan?s experience of interethnic and interfaith consent.
Talking about democratic reforms in Kazakhstan, Nepszabadsag editor-in-chief noted that ?Kazakhstan has chosen its way of democracy development, seeking to protect national interests, rich culture and traditions?.
