Kazakh diplomat met with head of Spanish economic periodical,Expansion

ASTANA. May 4. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Ambassador Yergali Bulegenov has met with Director of the leading Spanish periodical ?Expansion? Jesus Martinez de Rioja in Madrid; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry?s press service.

The diplomat informed of the status and perspectives of Kazakhstan?s socio-economic development, democratic reforms, international initiatives including the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), III Congress of World Traditional Religions? Leaders and preparation for the 18th sitting of the General Assembly of the World Tourist Organization. Taking into account the world economic crisis the Ambassador drew special attention to the main provisions of the Kazakh President?s Address to the Nation "Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity" and article ?Keys to Crisis?. Besides, Mr. Bulegenov told about ?Path to Europe? government program developed in the context of Kazakhstan?s chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010. As for the issues of trade-economic cooperation, the diplomat noted favorable investment climate and potential of the country. Mr. Jesus Martinez de Rioja expressed readiness to continue cooperation. He noted that the newspaper?s policy was aimed at informing Spanish business circles about new markets and new opportunities in such young countries as Kazakhstan.
