Kazakh Economy Minister's visit to Paris - OECD report

PARIS. March 3. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ Yesterday at the headquarters of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, Kazahstan Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov took part in the presentation of a report on employment and welfare in the Black Sea region and Central Asia, Kazinform reports.

The OECD report ?The Black Sea and Central Asia. Results and Welfare? also included an economic review of African and Latin-American countries. The purpose of the report was to help ensure systemetic monitoring and evaluation of economic indices and strategies of the Caspian-Black Sea and Central Asian countries based on their political relations. In his turn Kazakh delegate told about the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the OECD, the investment climate, current economic situation in the country and the anti-crisis measures launched by Kazakhstan Government.
