Kazakh Economy Ministry held board session
ASTANA. April 17. KAZINFORM. Kazakhstan's Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning has held a session chaired by Minister Bakhyt Sultanov in Astana.

The Ministry reviewed the accomplishments in the first quarter of 2009, the progress of the President?s Message in action and the Ministry?s Strategic Plan for 2009-2011.
The Ministry of Economy has updated the republican budget in order to optimize budget expenditures, ensure further economic modernization, implement the employment strategy and provide post-crisis development of Kazakhstan. A newly passed law envisages raising a target transfer from the National Bank to the republican budget to the amount of KZT 347,9 billion, including KZT 140 billion to finance regional employment strategy. Local budgets are also invited to cofinance. The total amount of co-financing from the local budgets should make KZT 51 billion.
