Kazakh Education Minister met with colleagues from Turkic speaking countries

ASTANA. August 13. KAZINFORM Meeting of education and science ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States took place on the threshold of the second CCTS summit on August 9-10 in Bishkek.

Kazakh Education and Science Minister Bakytzhan Zhumagulov attended the meeting along with Misir Mardanov (Azerbaijan), Omer Dincer (Turkey), Kanat Sadykov (Kyrgyzstan).

The ministers considered the issues of establishing the CCTS council of education and science ministers, development of joint measures on developing a legal framework of the International Turkic Academy and common education space.

On August 8, B. Zhumagulov met with his Kyrgyz colleague to discuss the issues of establishing the International Turkic Academy in Astana, signing an agreement on the construction of school in Osh, staff training exchange and deepening of bilateral relations.
