Kazakh Embassy advises against travel to certain UK cities due to unrest
The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has advised Kazakh citizens to temporarily avoid visiting certain UK cities, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
"In light of escalating tensions in several regions, the Kazakh Embassy in the UK recommends citizens refrain from travelling to Rotherham, Bolton, Blackpool, Hull, Bristol, Stoke-on-Trent, Belfast, and the outskirts of Manchester and Liverpool until the situation stabilises," the statement said.
Kazakh citizens currently in these cities are urged to exercise heightened safety measures, avoid large gatherings, stay informed through news updates, and maintain contact with the embassy.

Anti-immigrant unrest continues in British cities, following an attack on a children's dance studio in Southport last week, which resulted in the deaths of three girls and injuries to eight children and two adults.
Police reported 147 arrests, with numbers expected to rise. Authorities stated that the motives remain "unclear" and the incident is not being treated as terrorism-related.
However, false information quickly spread on social media claiming the suspect was a radical Muslim migrant, sparking initial protests. Police clarified that the 17-year-old suspect was born in the UK.
