Kazakh Embassy holds roundtable dedicated to President?s Message

BEIJING. March 26. KAZINFORM /Talgat Baimukhambetov/ Today the Kazakh Embassy in China has held a roundtable on the provisions of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s Message to the Nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity?. Former Chinese ambassadors to the post-soviet countries, officials of ministries and departments, heads and scientists of analytical and academic structures and representatives of business circles and leading mass media of China took part in it; Kazinform reports.

Informing the guests of the main provisions of the Message, the diplomat named it a program document about plans and directions of the Government in the sphere of social-economic development in 2009. I.Adyrbekov emphasized, that the most important task of Kazakhstan is ensuring employment, in particular, in rural area. Implementation of large projects will be continued. New social projects are also to be developed. Civil construction, improvement of a village?s image, reconstruction and repair of roads, renewal of social infrastructure, first of all, schools and hospitals, will be realized. Furthermore, attention will be paid to the housing and utilities issues. The Ambassador informed that the Message paid great attention to social problems solution, use of competitive advantages for creation of new productions and preparation of a reliable basis for the post-crisis period. Former Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Yao Peisheng emphasized that the Kazakh President expressed his confidence and will in overcoming the global economic crisis. According to him, this document has preventive character in the plan of topical problems solution, gives the Kazakhs confidence and optimism. Yao Peisheng expressed confidence that Kazakhstan will reach all tasks set . The Chinese experts, who took an active part in the discussion, noted Kazakhstanis' confidence and will of Kazakhstanis to speedy overcoming the crisis.
